MEET WITH THE SENIOR CITIZENS AT HYDERABAD ON 30TH MAY 2014.

Dear All

Today i had an opportunity to be with the 'Senior Citizens Association', at Chitra Layout, LB Nagar, on the eve of its Second Anniversary.

It was happy moment to meet and share their feelings, experiences, concern and commitment for self and society.

When turn came to strengthen their Society, i had a pleasure to share my experience and concern for the group. The message is that first accept that this group is well qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable with systems & values. This group is capable of doing two things as:

  1. To protect themselves for leading an healthy & quality of life and
  2. To support Societies / People living around them.

Then point came that what this group can do?

Based on their experiences, values and systems on one side and needs of the people on the second side, the key areas suggested are:

  1. Health
  2. Education
  3. Employment
  4. Water
  5. Power &
  6. Clean & Green.
At the end, suggested ways to strengthen their Society to fulfil the needs of the groups and as well as the needy people living around them.

Looking forward for connecting the people for strengthening the bondage and further to lead an healthy living with quality.....

All the best.

WORKSHOP AT CIPS, HYDERABAD ON 14TH MAY 2014

Dear All

On 14th May 2014, attended the workshop organized by the 'Centre for Innovative Public Systems (CIPS)' at ASCI Campus, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

It was mainly on the Innovative Public Systems dealing with the Education and Nutrition. The examples / case studies presented have reflected the realities in parts of the Country.

In the case of Education, the systems for catering the needs of the Children with Special Needs are not adequate and gets lowest priority in spite of the RTE. When this question was posted to the State of Karnataka, the situation was not encouraging and suggested all the participants and authorities to do the needful at their respective place / department.

The Journey initiated by the CIPS is significant in filling the 'gaps existing between the paper & reality' or 'poor linkage of LAB to LAND'.

Looking forward to do more such needy works in association with the CIPS.

All the best.
