It is the happy moment to welcome the CSR bill approved for effective implementation with utilization for protecting the health & wealth of the People & Environment. 

The concept of CSR HUB developed by the TISS is the most needy for the stakeholders to come on to the same platform for doing the people oriented business. 

Now it is the opportunity for the Civil Societies to exhibit their skills, capacities and needs of the targeted groups for whom they are working.

RIGHT TO INFORMATION (RTI) - TRANSPARENCY

Dear All

In continuation to the earlier postings, the need of the hour is to have the need based SERVICE DELIVERY SYSTEM (SDS) for improving the TRANSPARENCY which further leads for effective reach with sustainable solutions.

In this direction, RTI is the most power tool in the hands of PEOPLE to know the desired information. Now the need of the hour is to create more awareness on this tool for the people so that they can start using the same for getting better systems with better accountability. 

In this direction the forum of 'EDUCATORS IN RTI SERVICES' has taken the lead in disseminating the same to the people at all levels.      

In continuation to its efforts, it has taken the effort of training a group of TRAINERS on RTI with the support of Center for Good Governance, Hyderabad. 

I will be part of this to be organized during 27 & 28th Sept. 2013 and more more will be posted on this TOOL.

SERVICE DELIVERY SYSTEM - SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Dear All

To answer majority of the present day issues / challenges / vulnerabilities / hazards / disasters, people expects Service Delivery System (SDS) matching to their needs and environment. It is possible to have such need based SDS when we all are committed with concern for the health & wealth of the People & Environment.  One of the key barriers is the selection of mode of APPROACH. At present, it is mostly dominated by the TOP DOWN APPROACH (TDA) where 'one' decides what 'others' wants. It is one of the major issue to get the limited results while reaching the people with matching services / supports / resources. 

To enhance the effectiveness of the SDS, the other option is to adopt the BOTTOM UP APPROACH (BUP) which is based on the needs of the people. 

To balance the need of the hour is to adopt the combination of TDA & BUP with the concept participatory starting from the stage of Conceptualization, Development, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation (CDIME).

The collaboration of GO-NGOs will help to have need based CDIME with the combination of TDA + BUA.

SENIOR CITIZENS - TRANSFORMATION - SUSTAINABILITY

Dear All

It is the fact that the SENIOR CITIZENS are the key players to transom the traditions with VALUES to the YOUNG generation who needs to shoulder the responsibility of moving forward with INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT with better SUSTAINABILITY which further leads for the HEALTH & WEALTH of the PEOPLE & ENVIRONMENT.

In this connection, had an interactive meet of the Senior Citizens who are well qualified, experienced and got lot of expertise at Hyderabad on 21st Sept 2013.  

The presentations made and the sharing are very much interesting and united the people to me forward with more such meets. 

I will be connecting with such people and posting more and more on this so that the main purpose can be continued by connecting larger groups living all over the GLOBE.
