ABSTRACT

The business oriented development by utilizing the available resources has resulted for several challenges including vulnerabilities with hazards and disasters which further affected the health and wealth of the people and environment. The SWOT Analyses of needs, resources, service delivery systems, governance and disposal as a cycle reveals their understanding in terms of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The present situation in general and at rural environments is more complex and making people to struggle for critical needs. The opportunities are the better way outs to minimize the challenges with improved connectivity, harmony, commitment and participation. The CSOs have got the key role in working with government on the basis of DIME with the combination of top down approaches and bottom up approaches. The shift towards e-governance improves the service delivery systems with better efficiency. The issues with the disposal of products and other waste can be minimized by designing them with eco-friendly resources. The use of technological tools helps in mapping the resources, mode of exploitation, monitoring and evaluation with healthy practices. These further results for better accountability, responsibility and transparency with need based availability, accessibility and affordability. The suggested opportunities and models are simple, reliable, scalable, and sustainable with flexibility to match to the given groups and environment.
