In the Spectrum of Disability Rehabilitation (DR), Early Identification & Early Interventions (EI & EI) gets top priority as the whole process and consequences depends on that.
In this direction, National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped (NIMH), Secunderabad is going to organize two day National Conference on "Early Intervention of Developmental Disabilities" during 7th & 8th March 2013. More details can be seen at its website: www.nimhindia.org
Before institutional services, home and community services are the most needy as they are the people who can see, understand and identify as the primary stakeholder. Certainly, Community Based Approaches works effectively with better access and utilization or local resources with better adaptability.
I will be participating in this seminar and will be contributing for the same.
